SAFE Paediatrics Course Complete!

Exhausting but exciting week.  I think pictures tell the story the best.

Hands on practice what they learn.

Classroom experience with a willing "victim."

BERTILLE Ki, a talented, yet quiet,  Anesthesiologist from Burkina Faso, teaches the student's how to assess for vital signs, pain and treatment.

A wrapped candy bar mimics skin and bone for the puncture of the needle for administering drugs to the patient.

Each participant gets to practice what they learned.

After four very long days, it is good to have some fun with the participants and the translators!

I have CAKE in my hands. Celebrating one of the facilitator's birthdays, we ran out of napkins (serviettes) and ate it with our fingers using our hands as a plate!

The graduates!
